Tuition By Program: Net Price Calculator
College costs shouldn't be a mystery. The tuition and fees you see below are the price you will pay. Tuition includes the cost of courses, textbooks, and GIAC certification tests that serve as exams for most courses.
Master's Degree Program
Tuition is $1,500 USD per credit hour, totaling approximately $54,000 USD over 3-5 years.

Graduate Certificate Programs
Total program cost is $22,800 USD (or $29,250 USD for the Cybersecurity Leadership program) over 18-24 months.

Bachelor's Degree Program
Total tuition is $41,650 USD over 2 years for the 50 credits and bachelor's degree you will earn at SANS.edu.

Undergraduate Certificate in Applied Cybersecurity (ACS)
Tuition for the Applied Cybersecurity Certificate program is $18,500 USD over 10-18 months.

Undergraduate Certificate in Cybersecurity Fundamentals (CSF)
Tuition for the Cybersecurity Fundamentals Certificate program is $3,000 USD over 6-9 months.

Single Courses / Non-Degree Seeking Students
Tuition for a single course is set at a flat rate of $6,500 USD per course.

VA Education Benefits
All SANS.edu programs are eligible for US and Canadian Veterans Education Benefits.
Tuition Payment Program (TPP)
Eligible students can spread out the cost of their degree or certificate program in monthly installments with no interest.
Step Up Payment Program
Eligible undergraduates in the ACS and BACS programs can manage tuition costs through an interest-free graduated payment plan.
Education Benefits for Federal Employees
All SANS.edu programs are eligible for the education benefits available to US Federal Government employees.
529 College Savings Plans
529 College Savings Plan funds may be used to pay tuition for any SANS.edu cybersecurity degree or certificate program.
SANS Voucher
If you’d like to use a SANS Universal Voucher Account, confirm with your voucher administrator that course tuition is an eligible expense.
Canadian Funding Options
All SANS.edu programs are eligible for the Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP) and Canadian veterans’ education benefits.
External Cybersecurity Scholarships

Title IV Eligibility
The SANS Technology Institute is approved by the U.S. Department of Education as a Title IV–eligible institution. While SANS.edu does not participate in federal financial aid programs, this eligibility allows us to offer several important benefits to our students, including:
- Receive IRS Form 1098-T for potential education tax credits if you fund part of your program cost.
